Phew! What a trip! The Contivio team just wrapped up our 7th visit to SuiteWorld and, as always, it has proven to be a great success.
This year’s SuiteWorld was an event of many firsts - including the first time it was hosted in Las Vegas, and the first event under the Oracle umbrella. The 2017 theme was “Next Starts Now” and the NetSuite team didn’t disappoint with a packed schedule that included sessions from Marketing and Sales to Finance and Development. Most sessions touched on NetSuite’s omnichannel capabilities, which we’re aligned with, as Contivio’s contact center plays a huge role in the customer experience across all channels.
As a sponsor, our team spent the majority of the conference manning the booth in the Exhibit Hall, but we did get the opportunity to attend a handful of sessions.
One of our personal favorite sessions was “From Email to Sale: Using NetSuite to Automate your Marketing, CRM and Sales Force” which was hosted by NetSuite’s John Dougherty (Industry Principal, Manufacturing), Jennifer Weiss (Practice Manager, Education Services) and Sean Seabrook (Solution Consultant). The NetSuite team was also joined by Mark Petzold, Director of Communications & Technology from Food for the Hungry Canada, who shed some light on how his non-profit organization overcame the detriments of silos by using NetSuite for over 10 years. After Mark’s Q&A session with Sean Seabrook, Jennifer Weiss shared how to use NetSuite for tracking marketing & email campaigns, and then John Dougherty walked through their “Lead to Customer” process, and demonstrated how Contivio’s Cloud Contact Center with NetSuite integration assists in the process of converting a lead to a customer. He showcased Contivio’s ability to automatically trigger a call to a new lead who just finished filling out a web form (while screen popping the new lead’s information in NetSuite). He also demonstrated how to use live chat with Contivio, along with Contivio’s ability to trigger calls based on scheduled tasks in NetSuite.
In addition to attending sessions and manning the booth, we were also thrilled to spend time with our existing clients and partners like RMF, RSM, Spear Education and LivOn Labs. We all had a blast at the NextFest afterparty at the Hard Rock Hotel, where folks put our infamous drink straps to good use!
In sum, we're excited about NetSuite's roadmap and are looking forward to our continued partnership. Now we need to get back to work and start following up with some of our new leads!
