Hold and Mute
Place calls on hold, or your microphone on mute from the desktop softphone.
Hold
While on a call you can place callers on Hold:
- Click the Hold icon,
, call options display. While on hold, callers will hear your default hold music. - Clicking the Hold button again will take the caller off of hold.
Mute
While on a call, you can place yourself on Mute:
- Click the Mute icon,
, in the call options display. Your media display will update, indicating that you are muted.
Note: If you are on a call and make another call, your current call will automatically be placed on hold.
