This guide explains how to update key settings after first logging into Contivio. These steps help you set up voicemail, security preferences, audio configurations, and more to ensure a smooth experience.
1. Configuring Your Voicemail:
- Access Voicemail: In the upper-right corner of the screen, click the voicemail icon.
- Record Your Voicemail: Select Dial Voicemail and follow the IVR prompts to record your personal message. After the tone, record your greeting, and press the hash key when finished.
2. Changing Your Password:
- Update Your Password: We recommend changing your default password after logging in. To do this, navigate to the Settings sidebar, click Security, and create a new login password.
- Password Impact: This password will be used for both your Contivio mobile app and Chrome extension.
3. Configuring Audio Settings:
- Set Default Audio Devices: In the audio settings, you can select your default microphone, speaker, and ringing device.
- If you have devices connected via Bluetooth or USB, they will appear in the dropdown menu.
- The microphone picks up your voice during calls, and the speaker plays audio.
- You can also choose the device that will ring when you receive an incoming call.
4. CRM Integration & Screen Pops:
- Enable Screen Pops: To receive notifications (screen pops) during calls, ensure your CRM settings are configured correctly.
- By default, we recommend enabling screen pops for all media.
- You can also decide whether screen pops should appear during the offer period (while the call is ringing) or after you accept the call.
5. Submitting a Support Ticket:
If you experience any issues with audio or app performance:
- Submit a Ticket: Go to the Settings menu, select Customer Support, and choose the issue type from the dropdown.
- Describe the Issue: Provide a detailed description of the issue and hit Submit. This allows our support team to swiftly diagnose and address the problem.
