Accessing the Keypad in Contivio

From the Home Screen, you can quickly access the Keypad to place a call in just a few simple steps.

Steps to Access the Keypad and Place a Call:

1. Access the Keypad:

   • On the home screen, click the Keypad shortcut.

2. Dial a Phone Number:

   • You can enter the phone number in one of two ways:
     • Keyboard Input: Type the phone number using your keyboard.
     • Manual Input: Use your mouse to click the individual DTMF (Dual-Tone Multi-Frequency) buttons on the keypad.

   Note: If you encounter an IVR (Interactive Voice Response) during an outbound call, keyboard inputs will not register. You must manually click your selections on the keypad.

3. Place the Call:

   • After entering the phone number, click the Dial Number button at the bottom of the softphone to initiate the call.

This process allows for quick and efficient dialing, ensuring you can make calls with ease using either the keyboard or manual inputs on the keypad.
