Wrap Up Status (Article)

Use wrap up and return to ready status in desktop softphone

After a voice call is completed, a wrap-up period will begin. This provides you as an agent time to finish entering pertinent call information.

Extend Wrap Up

  • If the agent requires more time before returning to Ready status, they can click the "extend wrap up" icon, which will give them more time before receiving their next call.
  • The agent will need to use the Dismiss Contact Data button to return to Ready status.

Dismiss Contact Data

  • If the agent is ready to receive their next call but is still in wrap-up status, they can click "Dismiss Contact Data" to end the wrap-up period and return to Ready status.

 

 

Note: Agents will not be able to receive calls while in wrap-up status. Once the wrap-up period has finished, the agent will automatically return to Ready status.
